Art Director / Creative Designer
My name is Nikola. I am a Designer. Employers call me Art Director, Head of Art and often Creative Director, but I am telling you - I am Designer and I am all in lines, shapes, colors, textures, space, size and value. That is my playground and my passion. That is who I am.
I started as a Graphic Designer and progressed into Art Director at New Moment - Skopje. Later becoming Creative Director for Macedonian, Albanian and Kosovo branch in the New Moment network. For the last three years working for New Moment Belgrade office than transferring to McCANN Belgrade as Head of Art. Alongside advertising frequently working as a guest lecturer and speaker at Academia Italiana in Skopje, Skopje Design week, Fanfara conference in Ljubljana and others. In 2014 founded Tvornica, a local craft-design brand.
Experience working with brands like Coca Cola, BMW, Huawei, Raiffeisen Bank, Toyota, Philip Morris, Telenor as well as many regional mobile operators.
Working on creative concepts and idea development. Brand creation and development. Art Direction as well as Graphic and Product Design. Brand strategy and brand creation. Development of full advertising campaigns, including TV, print, digital and outdoor media as well as new media campaigns. Experience working on communication platforms as well as brand development.
Numerous awards starting with the first Golden Award at Golden Drum for new Moment Skopje in 2011, Grand Prix in 2013 on Golden Drum where New Moment becomes most awarded agency of the festival. Later winning awards on festivals such as Eurobest, Epica and The Cup. Finalist at Cannes Lions in 2014 and part of the team winning Titanium Lion in 2013 and Silver Lion in 2015. Most recently winning a Silver Drum award for OOH at Golden Drum in 2018. Jury member at Golden Drum Festival in 2014.
